Where to Go Swimming in West Los Angeles

It's hot out there, which means it's a great time to jump in the pool. There are here are many places to go swimming in West Los Angeles from public pools at the park to the Santa Monica beach to hotels with day passes. Here are some of the parks with public pools*. 

Westwood Pool: This is a great option for indoor swimming, especially on hot days. The pool is Olympic-sized and has a variety of lap lanes and recreational areas. It's also a popular spot for swimming lessons.

Stoner Park Swimming Pool: This outdoor pool is a great place to cool off on a hot day. It has a zero-depth entry area for small children, a diving board, and a water slide. There are also plenty of shady spots to relax in.

Cheviot Hills Pool: This pool is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It has a variety of lap lanes and a shallow area for kids. There is also a playground and picnic area nearby.

Annenberg Community Beach House: This beachfront property offers a variety of swimming options, including a saltwater pool, a freshwater pool, and a children's pool. There is also a gym, a spa, and a restaurant on site.

Santa Monica Beach: This iconic beach is a great place to swim, sunbathe, and play volleyball. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Makes sure and check the surf and water quality report before you go.
