Jae Wu is the co-director of Heyler Realty, GLAR Region 1 Vice-Chair, and the 2023 President of the Women's Council of Realtors Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. Jae has helped thousands of people realize their real estate goals through a combination of experience, hard work, and fierce loyalty since 1995. She offers her clients total care and dedication, using her competitive streak and razor-sharp negotiation skills to ensure ideal outcomes and her caring, compassionate nature to build lifelong relationships.

As a recognized industry leader, Jae has received the Los Angeles Five Star Real Estate Agent award seven times. She is continually improving upon her real estate knowledge: Her real estate certifications include Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), and Certified Negotiations Specialist.

Jae is one of those rare souls who thrive on helping others and always keeps her promises. She has helped so many people, in fact, that her friends and colleagues often joke that there’s only one degree of separation between Jae and anyone in LA. Thousands of people rely on her to lead them to beneficial outcomes because she believes in living her values, whether she’s selling a multimillion-dollar home or serving her community through one of her many philanthropic efforts, which include serving as 2023 Co-Chair of the American Cancer Society's Cal Spirit event, being president of her local school's PTA, or serving on her local Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. Plus, she's the group leader at the Westside chapter of The Exchange LA for five years, where she meets monthly with top professionals ranging from financial advisors and CPAs to attorneys specializing in estate planning, real estate, and family law.

As a real estate professional, Jae channels this energy into being available and present for her clients. She approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, knowing that a well-executed plan and a positive, problem-solving mindset make anything possible. As a community member, she never misses a chance to give back or make her corner of the world a better place.

Part of what makes Jae a consummate real estate expert is her background in the mortgage industry. Sean McMillan and Jae worked together as colleagues in the mortgage business and became business partners in 2005. After working for a top real estate firm for several years, they purchased Heyler Realty in 2011 to incorporate their own vision of helping people with their real estate needs and serving the community. Jae and Sean approach each transaction as a team, providing their clients seamless concierge care and more than 60 years of combined LA real estate expertise.

A longtime Westsider, Jae lives in Westwood with her husband, Larry, and their sons, Ryan and Jake. Jae makes the most of every minute, as she has a keen sense of how uncertain our time on Earth truly is. In her free time, she enjoys beach volleyball, golf, tennis, and hiking. She is a foodie and enjoys great wine and meals.
